To book and confirm your move you will need to enter your payment information on the booking page. Quips Inc. will charge you 100% off the fee on your credit card within 24 hours after your move is complete. If you have any questions about our payment policy, please email [email protected] Quips Inc. reserves the right to change its payment policy and rates at any time at Quips' sole discretion.
Supplies for your move will not be provided by Quips Inc. free of charge. You will be charged for any items needed to complete your move including but not limited to: packing supplies, boxes and wrap. We do not provide free packing supplies and all items will be charged accordingly to what is necessary to perform a safe move.
A cancellation notice must be given at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled move to avoid any fees. A cancellation given less than 48 hours' notice will result in a cancellation fee of $100 charged to your credit card.
Quips Inc. is a team of moving professionals who use best practices and experience to deliver your items as safely as possible to their destination. However, there are times when damages may occur which may be our fault or out of our control. The valuation standard that comes with Arizona local moves is $.30 per pound per article. Quips Inc. is not liable for what it determines in its sole discretion to be small nicks and scratches that may occur during the moving of your furniture.
Quips Inc., in its sole discretion, has the right to determine upon arrival to any particular residence if the amount of furniture, boxes or any other item that is designated to be moved is out of the scope of work provided in the guaranteed price.
Quips Inc. cannot be held liable for delays in your moving service due to any Traffic or Weather delays that are out of our control.
Quips Inc. cannot be held responsible for any items accidently left on the truck. It is the customer's responsibility to give the final inspection to ensure every item has been delivered successfully.
Home is in safe condition for a healthy work environment and that your home and property are free of any hazards that could injure the movers, damage equipment or damage items being moved. Remove all pets from home and property. Remove any snow, water, dirt or ice on the ground that would affect the move. We reserve the right a terminate a moving contract if the above conditions are not met.
Large and unusual items do not fall under the terms of service for a residential move booked through Quips Inc. Quips Inc. has full discretion to determine if any particular item falls under this category. Items include, but are not limited to: Pianos, Pool Tables, Cars, Boats, detachable, motor vehicles, sculptures, art work and any other item deemed Large or Unusual.
Within the Terms of our services and for liability purposes, we are required to wrap your items properly with blankets and shrink-wrap or tape to protect them from damage during your move. Quips Inc. cannot be held liable for damage to these items if the customer refuses this service.
Quips Inc. cannot be held liable for engineered wood "ready to assemble" furniture due to its lack of structural integrity. This also applies to particle board or pressed wood. In most cases these items are not manufactured with the intention of being moved.
All flat screen TV's must be boxed and protected properly prior to moving for valuation coverage to apply. Therefore, the use of an HDTV box with foam protection is required to move all HDTV's. Blanket wrapping is not enough protection and is against company policy and procedure. Please make sure our crew can turn on your TV to ensure it works properly prior to and after moving. your move.
We cannot be held responsible for damage to any items that are packed or prepared by the owner of the items and advise that any packing done is done appropriately and with care to reduce the likelihood of damage.
Quips Inc. is responsible for the negligence of our company and employees but cannot be held responsible for damage of loss of any kind due to weather, infestation, rust, deterioration, Act of God, an act of government or public agency, driveways that cannot support weight, other hazardous or dangerous conditions that exist that may be out of our control.
If property can't be accessed or in our opinion is too far away from the truck, we have the right to cancel the move
To ensure a smooth move and partnership it is the customer's responsibility to make sure that their household and items are ready to be moved upon Quips Inc. arrival to the pick-up location. You need to be packed and ready to go when our movers arrive.
All small items must be boxed and wrapped, and we will not take any small, loose items per our sole discretion.
Do not over pack boxes over 50 pounds, and make sure that the boxes are sealed and unbroken to reduce risk of damages and injury.
The customer is responsible for doing a final walk through of their residence to ensure all items have been packed, as well as the truck upon delivery to make sure that everything has been delivered and unloaded accordingly.
We'll replace a small area if damage has occurred and we will not pay for a new floor or finishing. You are responsible to provide sliders or rugs to protect the floor from normal wear and tear. We will not pay for any nicks or scratches as these full under normal wear and tear.
You have 7 business days to file a claim against damage done by a Quips Inc. employee.
