Suzette Barton Chandler is an acrylic painter currently residing in Mobile, Alabama.
She received her B.A. in Fine Arts and Art History from Louisiana State University in 1987.
Mrs. Chandler's work is a dichotomy of post-impressionist themes and expressionist abstracts.
The paintings are unified through an extremely bright palette developed by the artist as a response to the dark, gloomy winters of the Netherlands, where she resided for two years.
Her work continues to reflect her residence in and travels throughout Europe.
Suzette's work may be viewed in numerous galleries including Griffith Art Gallery in Birmingham, Alabama and The Canvas Company in Louisville, Kentucky, and at fine art shows throughout the U.S.
